What you need:- 6 empty 2-liter soda bottles
- Paint and paintbrushes
- Stickers or any other desired decorations
- Sand
- Ball
What to do:
1. After the soda bottles have been cleaned out and dried, have students paint the outside of each bottle (may need two coats of paint)
2. Once the paint dries, decorate each "bowling pin" as desired
3. Pour a small amount of sand into each bottle for weight to help them stay standing better
4. Screw the lid on tightly
5. Set up the pins in a pyramid shape, and bowl!
Why it's great:
Soda bottles are being reused for entertainment! Classroom bolwing is a great activity for indoor recess or free time. Students can work on hand-eye coordination as well as strengthening social skills when playing with others.
